Micro-dosing certain psychedelics can be beneficial for everyone, not just for people who have disorders or mental health issues. Our very own Lisa used micro-dosing to get off of the addictive prescrition medications she was taking. To find out how she did this and see her daily plans, please see "Lisa's Plan" further down this page.
We now know that most of the tech that came out of Silicon Valley during the 80's/90's/00's was the product of micro-dosing for productivity and innovative ideas. If Steve Jobs hadn't tried it, we wouldn't have the iPhone, iPad etc.
Below are some good links to read about different protocols for microdosing....

Micro-dosing helps to raise mood, motivation and mind set, its a good way to stave off depressive symptoms and all of the unproductive thoughts and behaviour that come with it.
But don't just take our word for it! Have a read of all the articles below, there are thousands on the internet.....

Here at psychedelic sounds, we believe that psilocybin is a panacea, a treatment for many conditions, There are lots of interesting articles online about what psilocybin can do for all sorts of disorders, and for people who don't have any kind of mental health issue at all, it is also proven to treat addiction with just two doses. Below are some articles we found about psilocybin and addiction.

As we have already discussed above, Micro-dosing psilocybin can be beneficial for anyone, not just people with depression, or a disorder. It can be used to help productivity, brain storming, motivation, bonding, and retraining the brain.
Disorders like MDD (Major depressive disorder) have been noted for their resistance to medications and therapies, people with this disorder will have all the treatments, and see no change, and it can go on for years, or their whole lives, they can be left feeling that the system failed them, and that there is no help for them, this can lead to more depression and anxiety, which brings with it more low mood, low motivation, a general dislike for life, for people and the world, negative mind set, and so much more.
Microdosing can help with all of those symptoms, a small Microdose every three days is enough to boost serotonin levels and get your mind back on track. These are natural medicines that only work on the brain, and have no harmful side effects, Most SSRI's and antidepressants are supposed to only excite the serotonin/dopamine/norepinephrine receptors in our brain, but they actually do so much more to our body and mind than we expect them to, they carry some awful side effects, not to mention their addictive nature and the awful effects you get if you miss a tablet, some have described it as being zapped in the brain, others like an electric shock through the tongue, and that's just for being a few hours late taking the tablet.
Psychedelics used for micodosing are natural, or derived from plants or fungi, psilocybin comes from mushrooms that grow from the ground, they do not contain anything that will hurt you physiologically or mentally unless you are allergic to mushrooms or have a family history of schizophrenia or Bipolar disorder, as you would be predisposed to psychosis that can be induced by the psychedelics, so please research your family mental health before thinking about trying psychedelic therapy.
Lisa has helped family members and friends to get off of antidepressants with psilocybin micro-dosing as well as herself, she used a simple plan, as she was worried about serotonin syndrome, but she found that small micro-doses taken on days when she missed out her tablet, were not strong enough to cause any problems, its higher doses that you need to stay away from whilst on medications.
Lisa's plan
This plan can be stretched out over months for people tapering off of medications or addiction. The first two weeks consisted of taking a micro-dose of 0.23g every three days, and on that day, she would miss out the tablet/antidepressant. After the first two weeks, Lisa then carried on wh the micro-dose every third day, but removed the tablet on the day after the micro-dose, as well as the one on same day, so now there was only one tablet every third day, followed by the micro-dose day, followed by a day of nothing. After two weeks of this, the tablets are completely removed and the micro-dose remains every third day and continues. Since using this plan, Lisa has changed her routine to 3 days on and 2 days off, this has been very good for her ADHD symptoms and productivity.
